  • LAND DEVELOPMENT
SALCRA major stakeholders are its project participants. As at December 2013, SALCRA has developed nineteen (19) oil palm estates covering 51,072 hectares. Located in four Divisions, there are 579 participating villages with 27,866 landowners. These Projects provide employment opportunities for the rural communities.
  • FINANCIAL RETURNS TO LANDOWNERS
One of the main benefits for the landowners participating in SALCRA’s projects is the financial returns, or the Nett Proceeds (Dividends) from SALCRA. To date, SALCRA has paid a total of Nett Proceeds amounting more than RM600 Million to the landowners. This has obviously helped to uplift the socio-economic status of the rural communities.
  • ENHANCING LAND OWNERSHIP
It is incumbent upon SALCRA to work hand in hand with the Department of Land and Survey to survey individual parcel of land for each landowner participating in SALCRA’s project. To date, SALCRA has issued 13,323 land titles.
  • PROVISION OF SOCIAL AMENITIES
In places where SALCRA implements its oil palm project, invariably SALCRA has to construct access roads and bridges linking the kampungs and the project sites. The local communities are also given the opportunity to use some of the facilities available at the Estate Village.
  • DEVELOPING ENTREPRENEURS
One of the major services provided by SALCRA is to develop entrepreneurs amongst the rural communities. There are enterprising landowners who now own lorries and farm tractors and even petrol station. Some landowners have also become transporters and package contractors to SALCRA.
  • PRODUCING LOCAL EXPERTISE IN THE INDUSTRY
SALCRA is proud to have produced a pool of Estate Managers and supervisors who are competent in managing oil palm plantations. SALCRA has also trained a pool of local engineers that can manage Palm Oil Mills.

The above services are in line with SALCRA Mission and Vision.
