11 July 2025, Serian Region: In a strong show of unity and dedication, 33 staff members from 11 departments and units at SALCRA Headquarters took part in a hands-on Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) and loose fruits collection programme at Kedup 1 Oil Palm Estate.

Led by Encik Vincent George, Team Leader of Group 7 from the General Administration and Quality Department, the initiative was part of an ongoing effort to strengthen collaboration and mutual understanding between HQ personnel and estate operations. The programme was jointly coordinated by the Human Resource Department and the Plantation Production Unit. Also present during the programme was the Plantation Advisor, Mr. Siang Mandaw, whose participation further demonstrated SALCRA’s commitment to fostering a collective and performance-oriented workforce culture.

The group was warmly received by Encik Baron Jonatan, Estate Manager of Kedup 1, whose support and smooth coordination helped ensure the success of the activity. This ground-level engagement is part of SALCRA’s broader strategy to enhance internal capacity, promote unity across departments, and build a deeper appreciation for estate-level challenges and operations.

The initiative reflects SALCRA’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence, guided by the principles of Resilience, Sustainability, and Profitability.

28 April 2025, Jagoi OPE & Rimbas OPE : In a strong display of unity and commitment, SALCRA Headquarters staff are rolling up their sleeves and heading to our oil palm estates to officially kick off the Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) & Loose Fruit Collection Programme 2025.

Running from April to November 2025, this initiative brings together eight dedicated teams, each led by members of SALCRA’s Management Team. These teams will collaborate closely with estate personnel, working side by side to enhance the collection of FFB and loose fruits which is the two crucial components in improving estate productivity and reducing losses.

More than just a collection campaign, this programme embodies the spirit of hands-on leadership, teamwork, and a shared sense of responsibility across all levels of the organisation. It is a tangible demonstration of SALCRA's commitment to operational excellence, efficiency, and the empowerment of our field teams.

By participating directly in field operations, HQ staff are gaining firsthand experience of estate challenges and operations, fostering deeper understanding and stronger collaboration between departments. At the same time, this initiative is designed to raise awareness of best practices in fruit collection, promote accountability, and instill a culture of continuous improvement.

Together, we’re making a real impact - one fruit at a time.

This is SALCRA in action: united, proactive, and committed to excellence.
