Sarawak Land Consolidation And Rehabilitation Authority (SALCRA) was established in May, 1976 under the Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority Ordinance, 1976.

- Rehabilitate land for Agricultural purposes
- Initiate and carry out projects or schemes for development improvement of Agriculture
- Promote & undertake agriculture development or project in the State
- Develop for agriculture on its own or in amalgamation with others in areas declared as Development Area

- To raise productivity & optimum utilization of NCR land by developing & managing the development of such land which are hitherto underutilized, unutilized or undeveloped

- To assist in issuance of Land Title to development participants
