1 May 2023, Samarahan: SALCRA commemorated its 47th anniversary with a symbolic event that showcased the organisation's commitment to unity, progress, and growth. The event, held at the Conference Hall in Wisma SALCRA, brought together the Management Team and SALCRA employees. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and excitement as all were gathered to celebrate the milestone achievement of SALCRA.
The event kicked off with the melodious rendition of the national anthem, "Negaraku," followed by "Ibu Pertiwi" and SALCRA's signature anthem, "SALCRA Maju." The soulful performances by the choir resonated with the spirit of patriotism that SALCRA embodies.
In a heartfelt moment, birthday shout-outs were extended to all SALCRA staff members with birthdays in the months of March to May, reinforcing the sense of togetherness within the organisation. Additionally, new staff members were warmly welcomed into the SALCRA family, recognising their valuable contributions to the organisation's ongoing growth and development.
Marilyn, an IT Executive, took the stage to highlight the significant advancements in SALCRA's Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and the associated benefits it has brought to the organisation.
The anniversary celebration also featured a captivating 30-second video montage, showcasing significant milestones, achievements, and impactful moments throughout SALCRA's rich history. The visual presentation evoked nostalgia while emphasizing the organisation's dedication to innovation.
The symbolic event reached its peak with great anticipation as the General Manager stepped forward to strike the gong. In a moment of unity and collective spirit, the General Manager resounded the gong and then followed by the Management Team for 47 times, marking the significance of SALCRA's 47th anniversary. As the gong reverberated through the conference hall, the rest of the Management Team and staff joined in, counting down together in unison, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and camaraderie.
Following the gong strike, the Management Team performed the ceremonial cake cutting, symbolising the shared commitment of the entire team to drive SALCRA towards greater success. The joyous moment was accompanied by warm applause and cheers from the attendees.
Concluding the event, Tuan Joseph Blandoi delivered an inspiring address, expressing gratitude for the unwavering dedication and hard work of the SALCRA team. He emphasised the organisation's commitment to further growth, innovation, and community development, setting the tone for the future endeavours of SALCRA.
