Every Drop Still Counts | Every Life Still Matters
5 February 2026 | Wisma SALCRA, Kota Samarahan
SALCRA hosted the first round of its Blood Donation Programme on 5 February 2026 at Wisma SALCRA. The programme was organised by the Safety and Health Unit under the Directorate Department, in collaboration with Jabatan Perkhidmatan Transfusi & Bank Darah, Hospital Umum Sarawak.
The initiative received encouraging participation, with a total of 67 registered participants, of whom 61 successfully donated blood. The positive response reflects a strong spirit of volunteerism and compassion among staff and participating organisations.
Blood Group Contributions:
Group A – 21 donors
Group B – 17 donors
Group AB – 1 donor
Group O – 22 donors
Every contribution made during the programme carries a meaningful impact. Each drop of blood symbolises care, empathy, and a shared commitment to helping those in need.
The programme was further enriched by the presence of the General Manager, YBhg. Datu Joseph Blandoi, who once again participated as a donor. His involvement added a meaningful touch to the initiative and reflected a shared commitment to community.
Our sincere appreciation to all donors, participating organisations, and the organising team for their continued commitment and cooperation. Building on similar initiatives undertaken in previous years, their collective effort once again ensured the programme was conducted smoothly and with purpose as SALCRA marks its Golden Jubilee. Together, we continue to uphold our motto — RESILIENT, SUSTAINABLE, AND PROFITABLE — serving the community with dedication, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility.
