10 May 2025, Sri Aman: SALCRA proudly hosted its first Health Run of the year at Lemanak Estate, SALCRA’s pioneering oil palm estate. This event marked the beginning of a series of activities leading up to SALCRA’s 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2026, and was held in conjunction with the organisation’s 49th Anniversary.
The event was officiated by SALCRA’s Human Resource Manager, Tuan Alexander Wong, whose inspiring opening remarks and flag-off instilled a strong sense of unity and enthusiasm among all participants.
Organised by KRES, under the leadership of Chairperson Puan Maureen Tamin, and coordinated by Encik Charlemagne Joanes Jose, Area Manager for the Sri Aman Region, the run drew over 300 participants. The event featured seven exciting race categories, including a special segment for AJPLS runners, making it a day filled with camaraderie, determination, and celebration.
The Health Run not only promoted physical well-being but also embodied SALCRA’s enduring values of health, resilience, and community spirit.
Our sincere appreciation goes out to the Organising Committee, volunteers, and every participant whose energy and support made this event a resounding success.
