5 October 2025, Padawan: The Padawan Raft Safari 2025 once again united communities, government agencies, and adventure enthusiasts in one of Sarawak’s premier outdoor events. This year, SALCRA and its subsidiary, Bau Palm Oil Mill Sdn. Bhd. (BAPOM), proudly fielded 10 teams with 40 participants, showcasing teamwork, endurance, and unity across the Women’s Open (15KM) and Government Agency (22KM) categories.

Congratulations and well done to Team Dayung Tasik Biru 1 (BAPOM), led by Puan Penny Nyapay, Mill Manager of BAPOM, for achieving a remarkable 1st Place victory in the Women’s Open 15KM category! An equally commendable performance was delivered by Team Dayung Tasik Biru 2, which achieved an impressive 8th Place in the same category.

A special note of appreciation goes to Puan Maureen Tamin, Chairperson of KRESS, for her unwavering support and encouragement throughout the event.
