27 Februari 2024, Kota Samarahan: SALCRA telah diaudit oleh dua (2) orang Juruaudit lantikan Unit Transformasi dan Inovasi Sarawak (STIU), Jabatan Premier Sarawak iaitu Encik Liew Ju Jeng dan Puan Diana anak Pike Kuwad, untuk pelaksanaan Balanced Scorecard (BSC) bagi tahun 2023. Sesi audit ini telah dihadiri oleh Kumpulan Pengurusan Strategik (SMT) yang diketuai oleh Encik Sikin Sentok, selaku Pengerusi SMT dan Timbalan Pengurus Besar SALCRA, serta Sekretariat BSC.
Setinggi-tinggi tahniah dan syabas kepada semua warga SALCRA kerana telah berjaya meraih tahap Cemerlang iaitu sebanyak 100% yang telah diumum oleh Juruaudit semasa Mesyuarat Penutupan Audit.
Semoga pencapaian ini menjadi motivasi kepada semua warga SALCRA untuk terus mendokong usaha BSC pada masa hadapan dan terus konsisten dalam menyampaikan prestasi yang cemerlang.

21 Februari 2024, Bau: Seramai 23 orang pelajar Universiti Shinshu, Jepun telah melawat ke kawasan operasi SALCRA hari ini, iaitu Ladang Kelapa Sawit Stenggang dan Kilang Minyak Kelapa Sawit Bau Sdn. Bhd. (BAPOM).
Tujuan utama lawatan ini adalah untuk memberi pendedahan tentang penanaman dan pengurusan kelapa sawit, serta operasi dan pengeluaran minyak kelapa sawit kepada para pelajar tersebut.
Turut serta dalam lawatan ini ialah Pengurus Wilayah Bau-Lundu, Encik Nelson Janen.

22 February 2024, Putrajaya: SALCRA was among the recipients of the Anugerah Integriti, Governans dan Anti Rasuah (AIGA 2023). SALCRA received the Bronze Award at the ceremony held today in Putrajaya. AIGA was established to recognise and appreciate the efforts and commitments of both the public and private sectors in nurturing the culture of integrity, governance and anti-corruption in their organisation.
When asked to comment on the award, Tuan Joseph Blandoi, the General Manager said, “We are glad to have received this award. This award is one of the early results of our efforts to build a clean working culture. When I took over the leadership of SALCRA, we started by formulating the Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) and implementing various initiatives. After three years, we have seen some encouraging results such as this award, as well as being rated by MACC as a medium-risk organisation.”

He added, “In fact, we didn’t expect to win anything. We participated to identify what are the gaps and weaknesses that we have in our system for improvement purposes. I must thank all officers and staff of SALCRA for supporting this initiative. However, the journey will not end here. There is still much room for improvement. We shall implement more initiatives to ensure everyone in the organisation internalises the importance of integrity in executing their responsibilities. Among the new initiatives include the Anti-Bribery Management System that shall start this year.”
The General Manager was accompanied by Encik Kubu Jenggi, the Internal Audit Manager; DSP AP Cannedy Ijau, the Chief Security Officer; and Puan Susan Steward Ngau, the Certified Integrity Officer at AIGA 2023 today.

16 Februari 2024, Kota Samarahan: Unit Kualiti, Bahagian Pentadbiran Am dan Kualiti telah berjaya mengadakan sesi Klinik Kumpulan Inovatif dan Kreatif (KIK) yang telah berlangsung selama dua (2) hari di Dewan Persidangan, Wisma SALCRA, bersama Timbalan Pengarah, Bahagian Pemodenan Tadbiran Awam Sarawak, Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam, Encik Bruce Kini Jesse.
Seramai 55 kakitangan SALCRA telah menyertai sesi ini.

27 January 2024, Miri: SALCRA won multiple accolades during the Sime Darby Oils Bintulu Berhad Suppliers Appreciation Day held at Kelab Golf Miri.
Saratok Palm Oil Mill Sdn. Bhd. (SAPOM) received two awards: the Biggest Volume of Palm Kernel (PK) supplies and the Biggest Volume of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) supplies.
Lubuk Antu Palm Oil Mill 2 (LAPOM 2) was honoured with the award for the Best Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Quality.
Among the dignitaries present were the Board Director of SAPOM, YB Mohamad bin Duri and the Deputy General Manager of SALCRA, Encik Sikin Sentok.

11 January 2024, Lundu: SALCRA's Bajo Training Centre played host to the 57th Sarawak Oil Palm Plantation Owners Association (SOPPOA) meeting. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of SOPPOA, Encik Eric Kiu Kwong Seng.
Our General Manager, Tuan Joseph Blandoi was present at the meeting in the capacity as the 2nd Vice President of SOPPOA.
The strengthened rapport formed during the meeting paved a solid foundation for future collaborations and initiatives.

6 January 2024, Lundu: Our recent Annual Appreciation Dinner at Bajo Training Centre brought together more than 800 attendees, including employees, subsidiaries, and officers from the Ministry of Food Industry, Commodity and Regional Development, Sarawak (M-FICORD), as well as agencies under M-FICORD, The main objective of the event was to recognise and appreciate the contributions of employees in 2023 and foster teamwork across SALCRA's operating areas.
One of the highlights of the evening was the book launch titled "SALCRA: The Empirical Details of Its Contribution To The Socio-Economic Development of Rural Sarawak". The book was launched by the Chairman of SALCRA, YB Dato Sri Dr. Stephen Rundi Anak Utom, who is also the Minister for M-FICORD. This book marks as a milestone for SALCRA as it is the first-ever comprehensive study written by academicians from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Dr. Nwanesi Peter Karubi and Puan Dayangku Norasyikin Pengiran Tejuddin, about the Authority.
Another notable moment was the recognition of 37 recipients who received the Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang for their outstanding contribution and performance in 2022. This demonstrates the Authority's appreciation and recognition of their high-performing employees.
Our estates and mills’ contributions to the Authority were also recognised with awards such as ‘Estate with the Highest Yield Increment’, ‘Estate with the Highest Returns’, ‘Palm Oil Mill with Best Oil Extraction Rate’ and ‘Palm Oil Mill with Best Utilisation Rate’.
The event was also attended by Tuan Joseph Blandoi, the General Manager of SALCRA; YBhg. Datu Ik Pahon, Chairman of Bau Palm Oil Mill Sdn. Bhd. (BAPOM); YBhg. 19 December 2023, Kota Samarahan: We achieved another milestone by formalising the Estate Management Agreement with Bumijaya Plantation Services Sdn. Bhd. to manage our oil palm estate at Karabungan.
General Manager of SALCRA, Tuan Joseph Blandoi and Director of Bumijaya Plantation Services Sdn. Bhd., Mr. Loh Poh Hwa signed the agreement in a ceremony which was witnessed by Director of Bumijaya Plantation Services Sdn. Bhd., Dato Dr. Nuing Jeluing and the rest of SALCRA Management Team.
